“Barbers To Show Off Their Cuts In New Reality Show”

Open Call For Licensed and Master Barbers

Atlanta , GA -- BarbershopNation.com is looking for licensed and Master
barbers to participate in a new reality show and competition in which they
may have the opportunity to win their own barbershop, cash, or other prizes.
The barbers will be put through a series of challenges that will range from
cutting the latest hairstyles, to organizing fundraisers for local charities.

The show will follow prospective contestants from their initial point-of-contact
and entry video, all the way up to the grand finale. The two finalists will face
off in a head-to-head showdown in front of an expert panel of Industry experts
and live audience. The winner will the grand prize, their own barber shop.

Barbers will be judged on, but not limited to, the following criteria:

Proficiency
Styling and Originality
Fading and Blending
Use of Shears (Scissors)
Use of Straight Razor
Professionalism
Community Involvement
Sanitation and Professional Hygiene
Business Knowledge and Acumen
Licensure

We are looking for the total package and well-rounded barber. Barbers that
not only have the skills, but also have a compelling story that they want to
share with the world.

The competition will not only be judged on proficiency. But will also be judged
on how well the barber relates to his community and those around him.
If you are a Master barber and would like to participate in this project, or if you know
someone that would be a good candidate, please do the following:

Send to us:

1. A three-minute video telling us your story. Make it compelling!

Include your name, the city and state in which you live, how long you
have been cutting hair, the name and address of the barbershop where
you are currently employed (if any), your community involvement and activities,
and what makes you unique as a barber.

2. A two-minute clip of you or the barber giving a haircut or styling
someone’s hair.

3. Five (5) clear photos of your best work (DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS).

4. Printed on a white 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper the following information:

Barbers Full Name
Address
Phone Number (with best times to be reached)
Name and Address of the barbershop where the barber works
Email Address
License expiration date

The video does not have to be professionally done but it must show clear pictures
of the barber working. DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS. Please send in your entry
on videocassette or DVD. Because of the expected volume of entries we
will not be able to return any materials back to you.
